Swap your hard drive with SSD and convert it into external hard drive

A follow up to the previously launched Imation SSD S-Class, M-Class and Upgrade kits in 2009, the improved Upgrade kit enables laptop devotees to migrate conveniently to SSD and to take full advantage of SSD non motors or moving parts technology which provide faster and more reliable data storage with reduced heat and noise.

The unique element of the Upgrade kit is that it includes a hinge case with LED-indicator for in-use notification. The case allows users to reuse the dismantled hard drive after installing the new SSD using the Upgrade kit.

Swapping your hard drive with simple steps:

1. Transfer your existing files from hard drive to the new SSD
2. Swap your current hard drive with the SSD
3. Install the dismantled hard drive onto the USB case to create an external hard drive
